All the information on this website is published in good faith and for general information purpose only. Teylor AG does not make any warranties about the completeness, reliability and accuracy of this information.
This Cookie Privacy Notice ("Cookie Policy") explains how Teylor AG, Zwicky-Platz 3, 8304 Wallisellen, Zurich, Switzerland ("Teylor" or "we") uses cookies and similar technologies to recognise you when you visit our website at www.teylor.com ("Teylor Website") or use our credit brokerage platform app.teylor.com and partner.telyor.com (the "Platform") as a registered user (the "Platform Users"). We explain what these technologies are and why we use them, as well as your rights to control our use.
In some cases, we may use cookies to collect personal information, or which become personal information when we combine it with other information.
The specific types of first-party and third-party cookies used through our websites and the purposes they serve are described below (please note that the specific cookies used may vary depending on whether you are visiting our informational website only or using our platform).
This Cookie Policy is in addition to the General Privacy Notice, which is available here. Please read this Cookie Policy carefully before visiting our website or using our services via the Platform.
1. What are "cookies"?
Cookies are small files that are stored on your computer or mobile device when you visit a website. Cookies are often used by website operators to make their websites functional or more efficient and to provide information for reporting purposes.
Cookies that are set by the operator of a website (in this case Teylor) are referred to as "first party cookies". Cookies that are set by parties other than the operator of the website are referred to as "third-party cookies". Third-party cookies enable the provision of third-party functions on or through the website (e.g. analytics). The parties setting these third-party cookies may recognise your computer both when you visit the website in question and, where applicable, when you visit certain other websites.
2. Why do we use cookies?
We use our cookies or similar technologies (collectively cookies) and those of third parties for a variety of reasons. Some cookies are necessary for technical reasons to make our websites work. We refer to these cookies as "essential cookies" or "strictly necessary cookies". Other cookies also enable us to track the interests of our users and to improve the use of our online services on our Teylor website and platform. We only use cookies for analysis purposes on our website. This is described in more detail below. We do not use third-party analytical cookies on our Platform.
3. How can I control the cookies?
You can decide whether to accept or reject cookies. You can exercise your rights in relation to cookies by making your settings in the Cookie Consent Manager. The Cookie Consent Manager allows you to choose which categories of cookies you accept or reject. Essential cookies, because they are technically necessary, cannot be refused as they are absolutely necessary to provide you with our services.
You can find the Cookie Consent Manager in the notification banner and on our website. If you choose to decline optional cookies, you can continue to use our website, although your access to some features and areas of our website may be limited. You can also set or change your web browser to accept or reject cookies. Because the means by which you can reject cookies through your web browser controls vary from browser to browser, you should visit your browser's help menu for more information.
4. What about other tracking technologies, such as scripts?
Cookies are not the only way to recognise or track visitors to a website. We reserve the right to use other, similar technologies, as may be the case with scripts, for example, if they actively read properties of an end device and transmit them to a server for the creation of a fingerprint. In this context, scripts are a short sequence of commands that are executed by a specific programme (e.g. a web browser).
5. What cookies and similar technologies do we use?
The specific types of first-party and third-party cookies and similar technologies used on our website and platform and the purposes they serve are described below (please note that the specific cookies and/or similar technologies used may vary depending on whether you are visiting our informational website only or using our platform):
5.1 Plattform Cookies
On our platform we only use technically necessary cookies:
Cookie name | Type and function of the cookie | Storage period | Cookie provider |
cookieconsent_status | Type: technically required cookie
Function: This cookie stores your response to the question whether you agree to the collection and use of data via the use of cookies on this website. | 1 year | It is a so-called first-party cookie, i.e. a cookie that is controlled from our website. |
i18next de | Type: technically required cookie
Function: This cookie is used to store your language settings locally. | For the duration of the session | It is a so-called first-party cookie, i.e. a cookie that is controlled from our website. |
5.2 Website-Cookies
In addition to the required cookies mentioned above, we use the following optional cookies on our website:
Cookie name | Type and function of the cookie | Storage period | Cookie provider | If applicable, link to the privacy policy of the third-party cookie provider (for third-party cookies) |
Google Analytics | Type: Analytics, Marketing Cookies
Function: Analysis of your user interactions on the platform, which enable us to improve our offer through the statistics and reports we receive. | 26 Months | Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Irland | https://policies.google.com/privacy |
5.3 Sales Viewer
Furthermore, on our website, data is collected with the web analysis service SalesViewer of SalesViewer GmbH, Huestrasse 30, 44787 Bochum, Germany (hereinafter "SalesViewer") for marketing, market research and optimisation purposes and transmitted to SalesViewer and stored and evaluated by it. Data is not transmitted to third countries. For this purpose, a javascript-based code is used to collect company-related data and the corresponding usage. The data collected with this technology is encrypted using a non-reversible one-way function (so-called hashing). The data is immediately pseudonymised and not used to personally identify the visitor to this website.
The data stored as part of SalesViewer is deleted as soon as it is no longer required for its intended purpose and the deletion does not conflict with any statutory retention obligations. As a rule, the data is deleted after a maximum of 14 months.
The legal basis for the collection and further processing of the data is your consent (Art. 6 para. 1 p. 1 a) DS-GVO), insofar as this data is personal. You can revoke your consent at any time without affecting the permissibility of the processing until revocation. The easiest way to revoke your consent is to use our Cookie Consent Manager or to install a browser add-on approved for your browser.
You can object to the collection and storage of data at any time with effect for the future by clicking on this link to prevent the collection by SalesViewer within this website in the future. This will place an opt-out cookie for this website on your device. If you delete your cookies in this browser, you must click this link again. You can also revoke your consent at any time via the Cookie Consent Manager on our website.
5.4 Google Analytics
We also use Google Analytics on our website, a web analytics service ("Tool") provided by Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland ("Google"). The purpose of our use of the Tool is to enable analysis of your user interactions on the Website and to improve our offering through the statistics and reports we receive and to make it more interesting for you as a user. We collect the interactions between you as a user and the website mainly through cookies, device/browser data, IP addresses and website activity. Google will use this information on our behalf for the purpose of evaluating your use of our website and compiling reports on website activity.
Google Analytics also collects your IP addresses to ensure the security of the service and to provide us as the website operator with information about which country, region or location the respective user comes from (so-called "IP location determination"). For your protection, however, we naturally use the anonymisation function ("IP masking"), i.e. Google truncates the IP addresses within the EU/EEA by the last octet.
The information generated by the cookie about your visit to the website and the shortened IP addresses are usually transferred to a Google server in the USA and processed there. However, due to the activation of IP anonymisation on our platform, your IP address will be shortened beforehand by Google within member states of the European Union or in other contracting states of the Agreement on the European Economic Area. Only in exceptional cases will the full IP address be transmitted to a Google server in the USA and shortened there. For these cases, Google has, according to its own information, imposed a standard on itself that corresponds to the former EU-US Privacy Shield and has promised to comply with the applicable data protection laws when transferring data internationally. We have also agreed so-called standard contractual clauses with Google to ensure compliance with an appropriate level of data protection in the third country. According to Google, the IP address transmitted by the browser used as part of Google Analytics is not merged with other Google data.
The Google Analytics cookie is stored until the end of your session and then deleted.
The legal basis for the collection and further processing of the data (which takes place for a maximum of 14 months), insofar as it is personal, is your consent (Art. 6 para. 1 p. 1 a) DS-GVO). You can revoke your consent at any time without affecting the permissibility of the processing until revocation. You can revoke your consent at any time via the Cookie Consent Manager on our website.
For more information about Google's terms of use and data protection, please visit www.google.com/analytics/terms/de.html or www.google.de/intl/de/policies/.
5.5 Meta Pixel
We also use the so-called "meta pixel" of the social network Facebook, which is operated by Meta Platforms Inc., 1 Hacker Way, Menlo Park, CA 94025, USA, or if you are a resident of the EU, Meta Platforms Ireland Ltd, 4 Grand Canal Square, Grand Canal Harbour, Dublin 2, Ireland ("Meta"), on our website.
The Meta pixel is an analytics tool used to measure the effectiveness of advertising on our website. For its use, a tracking code is generated and embedded on our website. Via the settings, we can determine which actions of visitors to our website should be tracked by Facebook (e.g. interests in certain topics or products). When you perform a corresponding action, the meta pixel is activated and the action is reported.
With the help of the meta pixel, it is possible to determine the visitors to our online offer as a target group ("Custom Audience") for the display of advertisements (so-called "meta ads"). Accordingly, we use the meta pixel to display the meta ads placed by us only to those meta users who have also shown an interest in our online offer or who have certain characteristics (e.g. interests in the topics or products defined by us). With the help of the meta pixel, we also want to ensure that our meta ads correspond to the potential interest of the users and do not have a harassing effect. With the help of the meta pixel, we can further track the effectiveness of the meta ads for statistical and market research purposes by seeing whether users were redirected to our website after clicking on a meta ad (so-called "conversion").
When using Custom Audiences via the pixel procedure, a direct connection is established between your browser and Meta's server. Context data (e.g. forwarding URL, browser information and the Facebook user ID) as well as user-defined data are transmitted to Meta. In addition, we cannot exclude the possibility that further personal data of the users is transmitted to Meta and becomes Meta from Facebook. In doing so, it is possible that Meta assigns the visit to our website to the corresponding Meta account and identifies the user accordingly.
To prevent the collection of your data in the context of the use of the Meta pixel on our website, you can follow the instructions at www.facebook.com/privacy/policies/cookies/ or www.facebook.com/ads/preferences/ or at cookies.insites.com.
The legal basis for the collection and further processing of the data, insofar as it is personal, is your consent (Art. 6 para. 1 p. 1 a) DS-GVO.
6. Legal Basis
6.1 General information
The legal provisions stipulate that we may only store or use cookies and similar technologies, by means of which information is stored on or read from your device, on your device without your express consent if they are technically absolutely necessary for the operation of this website. We require your consent for the use of all other cookie/technology types. Your consent is obtained using the Cookie Consent Manager. You can change or revoke your consent at any time via the Cookie Consent Manager on our website.
Furthermore, the processing of your personal data collected by means of cookies or similar technologies requires a basis under data protection law. This can be, for example, the initiation or fulfilment of the contract, your consent or our overriding legitimate interest.
Insofar as nothing to the contrary has already been stated above in the relevant sections of this Cookie Policy, the following applies:
6.2 Legal basis
The legal basis for the use of cookies that are absolutely necessary is §25 para. (2) no. 2 Law on the Regulation of Data Protection and the Protection of Privacy in Telecommunications and Telemedia ("TTDSG") or Art. 6 para. 1 sentence 1 lit. b DSGVO, insofar as the possibility of establishing a personal reference exists and the use is necessary for the purpose of providing the Teylor website or the Teylor platform in the sense of fulfilling the contract (e.g. for carrying out the electronic communication process or for providing certain functions desired by you).
The legal basis for the use of further cookies and similar technologies is your consent Art. 6 para. 1 sentence 1 lit. a DSGVO.
The processing of your data collected by means of cookies or similar technologies - insofar as the possibility of establishing a personal reference exists - is Art. 6 para. 1 sentence 1 lit. b DSGVO (contract performance) or Art. 6 para. 1 sentence 1 lit. f DSGVO (our overriding legitimate interest), insofar as we do not obtain your consent for this. Our legitimate interest lies in the provision of a user-friendly website, the design of which meets your expectations and needs, as well as serving our business interests. You have the right to object to the processing of your personal data based on Art. 6 (1) sentence 1 lit. f DSGVO at any time for reasons arising from your particular situation. You can send your objection to the contact details provided in section 9.
7. Data deletion and storage period
A distinction is made between so-called "permanent cookies" and "session cookies". Session cookies are stored on your device or by your internet browser for the duration of an internet browser session and are deleted when you close the internet browser. Permanent cookies are not deleted when the respective internet browser session is closed, but are stored on your device for a longer period of time, which is usually determined by the party setting the cookie. These cookies enable us to recognise your browser on your next visit. The specific storage period of cookies can be found in the overview shown above under point 5.
You can also set or change your web browser so that it deletes stored cookies. Please consult the help function of your browser for this, as the function may be implemented differently from browser to browser.
The data collected by means of cookies, insofar as the possibility of establishing a personal reference exists, is only processed by us for as long as is necessary to achieve the respective purposes pursued with the processing, which you can find in the above point 5.
8. How often is this Cookie Policy updated?
We may update this Cookie Policy from time to time to reflect, for example, changes to the cookies we use or for other operational, legal or regulatory reasons. Please therefore visit this Cookie Policy regularly to keep up to date with our use of cookies and related technologies.
The date at the top of this Cookie Policy indicates when it was last updated.
